Spanish Dance Experience Summer Program 2023

When: June 26th – August 4th (6 weeks) No July 3&4

Where: J- Building @ NEIU

Date: Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:30am - 2:30pm

Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am - 11:30am

Instructor: Nalanie Molina

Age: 14-15 years old

Stipend: $420

Description: Teens in the Spanish Dance Experience program learn the three styles of Spanish Dance: Classical Folkloric and Flamenco. Teens learn the technique, dance routines, choreographies and how to incorporate skills learned into their everyday lives. Teens also go out into the community to share their experiences with the local community centers and senior center. They will present a professional Spanish Dance concert as their final showcase. 

Flamenco Dance & Art Summer Program 2023

When: June 26th – August 4th (6 weeks) No July 3&4

Where: J- Building @ NEIU

Date: Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 2:00pm

Instructor: Luis Beltran

Age: 16-22 years old

Stipend: $15.40/hr 

Description: Teens in the Flamenco Dance & Art program will learn the culture of this artform - Flamenco Dance, basics steps, movements, heelwork, and vocabulary, in English and Spanish. Teens also will share their experiences with the local community centers and senior center through performance showcases. They will present a professional Spanish Dance concert as their final showcase for the end of the program.
