Ritmos de España

Designed as a 45-minute lecture/demonstration, this outreach program is led by a professional dancer who introduces young students to the rich history and styles of Spanish dance.

Suitable for students in kindergarten and through high school, the program is perfect for small to large assembly presentations.

Here, the participants gain entrée into the diversity of Spanish dance and music, and their continuing influence on traditional and contemporary art forms. Topics include instruments, rhythms, and the Spanish dance and music vocabulary.

Demonstrations are led by an ensemble of dancers, and small workshops or break-out sessions can be included in this format of programs. These programs take place on school or organization premises.
