Ritmos Unidos

The Ritmos Unidos/ United Rhythms program with Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater is a Flamenco dance cross-cultural exchange workshop with Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago to showcase the similarities of the Spanish Flamenco culture and the percussive styles of African and African-American dance.

Students will be exposed to a fusion of these expressive and percussive styles of dance and explore the historical relevance that has shaped the evolution of the choreography that we see today.
